Bendigo Ernest Hotel

Dearest Dog Pals,

Unfortunately, I am not well currently but there is always a positive to be found…my Pawrents are pandering to my every whim and treating me like the Princess I am 😊

As part of this, they decided to take me on a Full Birthday Week Road Trip culminating with a Birthday Pawty (more of this in a later post). Hum hunted for ages to find Hotel Accommodation of the standard I was used to in the UK and so here we go!

First Stop Bendigo and Hotel Ernest……

Hotel Ernest is situated right in the centre of Bendigo in a beautiful building which was originally the oldest bank in Bendigo and is full of historical features.

We were welcomed by one of the owners, David, and I must say first impressions are very good indeed. Incredibly luxurious, designer detailing Hum said…..

After a friendly reception in what was the old Bank Vault, we were shown to our room.

Hotel Ernest has one Dog Friendly Suite, suite 1 or The Robin Wallace-Crabbe Suite which Hum rather liked as each room is named after Australian artists whose work features in the room.

Suite 1 is situated at the back of the hotel opening directly onto a little courtyard so perfect for us four-legs who need to go outside frequently.

Hum loved the décor – all muted tones of pink, grey/blue and soft green she said.

SO let’s talk about the good stuff:

  • A super large room with a super large and extremely comfy bed
  • Excellent bed linen
  • Quality décor throughout
  • A little kitchenette with fridge, coffee machine, microwave and some kitchenware (Hum loved this as she could sort my meals for me 😊)
  • A clean and large bathroom all marble and beautiful finishes (according to Hum)
  • A dog bowl for me 😊
  • Robes for Hum and GlennDaddy to lounge in

Improvements could be made:

  • There was no full-length mirror or proper wardrobe
  • No dressing table to speak of for Hum – not enough room by the sink in the bathroom and no light or mirror or power point by the chest of drawers she considered using for her make up (Hum reckoned definitely designed by a man, albeit one with class).
  • The power point situation was also evident when Glenn Daddy needed to plug in his breathing machine and needed an extension cord for his side of the bed…..
  • Beautiful furniture but no coasters to protect it from hot teacups…..
  • Hum didn’t think the pillows were great and she loves a good pillow…
  • No breakfast is offered

Cost:

For 2 nights with a dog in June 2024 the cost was $697.62

SO dear dog pals, what do we reckon? Is it worth booking?

I would say YES for the following reasons:

Hum and Glenn Daddy loved the big bed and I also really enjoyed laying on the end (on a blankie of course)

The room was beautiful and everything from the coffee pods to the toiletries were high standard (according to my Pawrents)

It was definitely what Hum would call a ‘boutique hotel’ and of much higher standard than anything we have stayed in before in Australia so far.

There was a lovely park right next to the hotel for walkies

There are LOTS of dog friendly things to do in Bendigo (see next posting)

However, it was very cold and the heating wasn’t really strong enough to warm the room up.

There were those little niggles that we mentioned earlier in terms of practicality

Breakfast even a couple of pastries included would make it worth the price.

SO, go if your pawrents like the finer things in life, a bit of comfort and luxury and are prepared to dine out or bring you take away….AND DON’T GO IN WINTER WITHOUT YOUR THERMALS!!!!

Love, Zuki xx

McClelland Sculpture Park

Hi there Dog Pals and your Hoomans,

It has been a while since I put paws to keyboard to write a review but I just MUST tell you about my trip out today!

Hum collected one of my bested human friends Annetta to take us on an adventure (and lunch) 😊

SO, I collected up my stuff, lead, travel bowl, treats etc. and we then collected Annetta and off we went.

Hum’s satnav lady got busy with directions and soon we arrived at a place called the McClelland Sculpture Park. Now here is a tip for you lovely doggy friends of mine – if you and your human are going to Harry’s café for lunch, you get free entry to the park!!!!!

Now for the practical stuff:

McClelland Park is situated at 390 McClelland Drive, Langwarrin, approximately 50 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula.

Sculpture Park & Gallery Hours:

Wed to Sun: 10am-5pm

Harry’s Café:

Wed to Sun: 10am-4pm

We went to Harry’s Café first and I was delighted to see that there was a pleasant covered area for us four-legs and humans to sit in to eat.

There were also several tables outside with umbrellas for shade overlooking the lake.

Even better was the thoughtfulness of the staff to put not just a water station out in the covered area, BUT ALSO DOG TREATS!!!!!!

Hum and Annetta check out the food and they reckoned it was very good – with a lot of choice and some home baked goodies. Certainly Hum’s toastie was tasty…..

After Hum and Annetta finished lunch and agreed on how pleasant everything was; how good the coffee was, how peaceful it was and how full they were, we got to explore the park.

There is a lovely lake with walks around it and sculpture dotted about for you to find.

If you come on a Thursday morning with your Humans at 10.00 a.m., there is even a Tail Waggers Dog Walking Group for 30 minutes to enjoy with your buddies!

As we had missed the walk we made our own way around and Hum and Annetta particularly liked finding ‘Frankie’ The Chrome Gnome which has recently been relocated to the park. Boy is he one big Gnome! Look how tiny I look!

They also really enjoyed another sculpture which made music called Tubular Resonance. Apparently if you move around it, it creates more sound! What fun!

There are lots more to see and enjoy and lovely walks through the trees to sniff and check your wee-mail.

So get yourself organized and grab your humans for a fun, dog friendly day out!

Dog Friendly Day Out at KaBloom!

Hi EveryPawdy,

Today the Human Folk took me for a Dog Friendly Day out to an event called KaBloom!

This is a festival of flowers held at the Tesselaar Flower Farm up in the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria, Australia. https://kabloom.com.au/

When you get to KaBloom, the main event is walking through the gate and out into Fields of Fabulous Flowers!

This is what KaBloom is really all about; the breathtaking splendour of millions of flowers across five acres of plantings set in the gorgeous Dandenong Ranges. In the information they say, ‘This floral sensation will melt your heart and fill your soul.’ It may also make you sneeze if you have hayfever but never mind, it looks A-Maz-Ing!!!!! The colours in the fields were spectacular; the wild flowers were just starting to flower and I managed to find some newly opened Sunflowers!

Throughout the space, there were dog watering stations which was useful when the sun came out and it got a little hot.

There were also lots of food stalls including baked potatoes, Dutch Pancakes, German Sausages and very good coffee!

Hum let the lovely ladies know how to make a Puppuccino for me and I think they will be putting those on the menu from now on for all my four-legged friends 😊

As well as the flowers and the food, there was also entertainment throughout the day – we heard a really good violinist and saw some arial artists! There is also face painting, train rides, circus acts and workshops to make floral art for the children to enjoy.

So, grab your Humans and hurry along for a Grand Dog Friendly day out 😊

Lakes Entrance – Prime Holiday Park

Hi Pet Pals,

Let me tell you about my first Dog Friendly Holiday now I is an Australian Girl 😊

Hum & GlennDad took me to a place called Lakes Entrance which is very beautiful and relaxing according to Hum ‘cos there is lots of water which she loves. It is in Victoria, Australia nearly 4 hours from Melbourne City but there are good dog friendly stops on the way – we stopped at Food Co. on Franklin in Traralgon which had yummy food and space in a little garden to sit in the shade.

When we arrived at Prime Holiday Park in Lakes Entrance, we were not disappointed!

First of all – great news! It is super PET FRIENDLY and one of the only places we have ever stayed at that is for ADULTS and PETS only!!!! No children!!!! That is a FIRST!

So, let me show you around. Prime Holiday Park caters primarily for people travelling with their dogs and pitching up with their motor homes, caravans or trailer tents. It also has some accommodation on-site – 2 Cabins; 2 Cottages and 2 on-site Caravans. It is family run by Sandi and Darryl who are super friendly,  welcoming and extremely helpful with where to go and things to do.

We stayed in the Luxury Cabin and it was brilliant!

As well as having a handy gate to keep me safe, inside just got better and better!

There was a wonderfully comfortable dog bed provided, dog bowls, poo bags and a map for the humans to know where to take me.

For Hum there was a super kitted out kitchen and dining area and for GlennDad relaxing chairs for him to chill and watch his sport on TV

Even the bed linen had pictures of dogs on!!!! We were obviously THE most important folk in this holiday park!

The Park had really good facilities on-site. For us pooches there is an off-lead area which has play equipment in it should you want to climb or even go down a slide! Lots of bins around and a doggy wash area should you get wet and sandy on the beach and need a clean-up.

For the human-folk, there is an outdoor kitchen including BBQ area, a laundry, book swap and of course, Hum’s favourite a swimming pool 😊

Prime Holiday Park is 300 metres from the centre of town & the footbridge to the 90 mile beach, so all the attractions and features of Lakes Entrance are just a short walk away.

I would definitely give this a High Five Paw Rating! More about the town and attractions in the next Blog!

Zuki stays at The Dog Friendly Dales Country House Hotel

Hi Dog Pals,

Now we are allowed to travel and stay in holiday places, Hum & GlennDad took me on my holibobs to The Dales Country Park Hotel in Sheringham, North Norfolk. Hum loves Norfolk as she used to live there so she was really excited as was I ‘cos I loves holibobs and staying in hotels.

The Dales is part of the Mackenzie Hotel Group and all 3 hotels are dog friendly! When we arrived at The Dales, we found a pretty impressive building surrounded by gardens and we got a great welcome from the staff who all wanted to make a fuss of me.

With regards to dog friendliness, The Dales is pretty impressive. When we got to our room, the first thing I found was a dog bed, dog bowl, treats and a special towel for me to wipe my paws on if I got muddy! The room also was on the ground floor and had French windows opening onto the garden! Perfect for pooches.

Hum thought the room was a bit old fashioned and small but it had everything she needed – power points in the right place; light by the dressing table; plenty of storage space and a modern bathroom with toiletries and big fluffy towels and robes. She would have liked a little fridge in the room (for my food) but she did have her cool bag with her and the staff regularly re-froze the cool blocks for us so that was really good of them!

Now before any of you say I shouldn’t be on the bed, the staff said it was OK for the photo as long as I was on my blankie and slept in the bed provided which I did.

Dogs are allowed in the bar, reception area and the library but not the restaurant. This suited us just fine, as the library is a little room with one table by the window and you have it all to yourself! So the whole time we was there, we had our own special private dining room! How cool is that peeps! Hum and GlennDad ate 2 evening meals at the hotel and said the food was extremely good quality and delicious – Hum had crab and lobster and stuff which she said you had to have at the seaside and she enjoyed it thoroughly.

So that was evening. Hum and GlennDad thought the bed was comfy and the bedding wonderful so slept well but then came breakfast……or rather it didn’t, well not for about 40 minutes after they put in their order….They thought it was because we was in the library but then GlennDad heard other people complaining so realised it was just as it was. The staff were charming and really lovely to us and me in particular but Hum reckoned they were just very short staffed and hadn’t really go back up to speed after lockdown. When breakfast did arrive, the food was local and great quality and yummy (especially the bacon) but by then the coffee was cold so Hum wasn’t the happiest I have seen her….

Another issue (again possibly due to staffing) was the room cleaning. Twice when we came back from our walk early afternoon, the room hadn’t been cleaned; towels hadn’t been changed and toiletries; coffees etc. hadn’t been replaced. That really didn’t please Hum at all I can tell you but when she let the staff know, they did their best to put things right for her.

Not only is The Dales Hotel surrounded by lovely gardens of its own, it also backs onto Sheringham Park and there is access directly from the hotel grounds into the park. The park is enormous! Meadow, woodland, landscaped parkland and you can spend hours exploring and doing different walks depending on how fit you or your humans are.

So how would we rate The Dales Country House Hotel?? Well for us four-legs, I think it is special and wonderful – all the goodies (they even had a tin of treats in reception for us); the dog bed/treats; the gardens; plenty of places we could go in the hotel and lots of walks outside right on the doorstep. BUT for the human-folk, I think there could be a few improvements (well according to Hum & GlennDad). Even so, we had a great stay; good food, comfy sleeps and amazingly friendly and helpful staff. We met people with their dogs who come back regularly too! So for a dog friendly stay in a wonderful location, I would definitely recommend for you to pack your doggy bag, grab your humans and go stay. Well that’s all from me for now folks – night night and sweet dreams. Zuki xx

Zuki’s Northumberland Recommendations

Hi again Dog Pals and your Humans,

Now we can all travel and have holidays, I thought I would let you know some of the great places I have stayed at with Hum and can recommend to you and your humans. Today we are looking at Northumberland!

Victoria Hotel Bamburgh

When Hum & I visited Northumberland, our first stop was Bamburgh and the Victoria Hotel @VicBamburgh. Bamburgh is a real popular place in Northumberland. There is a beach with a BIG Castle and you can see stuff about Grace Darling and get to Lindisfarne easily which human folk like to do. You can’t have a Castle View room at the Victoria if you have a dog with you which Hum was a bit upset about but us dogs don’t need views as much as humans seem to so I was just fine with our room. There is nothing specifically provided for us dog-folk as at some places – no treats, towels, bowls or particularly enthusiastic welcome. However, there is lots of seating in the bar for people with dogs where you can have dinner and indeed your breakfast. The food at the Victoria is exceptionally good by the way.

The Bamburgh Castle Inn, Seahouses

Next stop on our Northumberland visit was The Bamburgh Castle Inn @BamCastleInn in the town of Seahouses just down the coast from Bamburgh. The room itself was quite simple in furnishing s and décor but really clean and with French Windows opening onto the little garden shared with 2 other rooms. There is nothing provided in the room for dogs but having a room opening onto your own garden is great for us four-legs! The room was nice but not luxurious;  however that garden made up for everything! Well that and the staff. The staff at The Bamburgh Castle Inn are EXTREMELY friendly to us four-legs. Not just me ‘cos I is a celebrity but ALL the dogs that come into the Bar area. Keiron and Nicky in particular were lovely with Keiron making sure I was happy and settled in the room and Nicky looking after me when Hum went to the bar to order our dinner. There were lots of people with their dog friends in the bar and many had travelled a long way to visit The Bamburgh Castle Inn and were people who returned again and again. That is high praise indeed! The Bamburgh Castle Inn overlooks the harbour where your humans can book you onto the dog friendly Golden Gate Boat Trip to see seals and visit the Grace Darling Lighthouse! A great day out for all to enjoy!!

Warkworth House Hotel

We got a GREAT welcome from Joanne when we arrived at Warkworth House Hotel @WarkworthHHotel.  Not only did she make a huge fuss of me BUT she asked if I wanted to join Hum for dinner and would we like her to book us a table in the bar. Also asked about breakfast and where we would like to sit. Now that IS thoughtful!! Joanne took us up to our room and OMG dog folks it is ‘MY’ room!!!!! My blankie, toy and even Hum’s suitcase TOTALLY match the pink and turquoise décor!!! I LOVE this room – well 2 rooms really – a bedroom and a sitting room for us to enjoy. Well posh! AND if I sit on my blankie on the bed, I can see out the window and watch the world go by. Brilliant – just brilliant! There is nothing provided in the room for us doggies, however Hum did good with lots of toiletries and a fluffy robe. The bar itself was welcoming and happy and had lots of folks with dogs and regulars who seemed very loyal to Warkworth House – it has an excellent reputation! Liam also brought me treats from behind the bar so happy days indeed! There is lots to do in Warkworth – a castle run by English Heritage who told Hum dogs are welcome on all their sites; a riverside walk; a beach to play on and lots of lovely little shops for Hum to explore. Most of the shops, pubs and cafes are dog friendly so this really is a great place to stay.

There are other great places to visit in Northumberland such as Alnmouth which has been described as picture postcard perfect with with its colourful cottages. There is a lovely variety of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, gift shops and a golf course for the humanfolk to enjoy. There is even a haunted hotel apparently what was featured on TV! We didn’t go there but headed straight for the beach. The main attraction of Alnmouth is the beach; right on the doorstep of the village which attracts people from all over the Country!  It really is a super beach for us four-legs to enjoy!

You may also want to visit Amble which is really rather interesting. We found these wonderful little pod shops and 2 of them had stuff for dogs! Mick ran The Dog Pod, Canine Café!!!! How cool is that dog pals!!!! A café for US!!!! He did sell crepes for the humans but then had a fab dog menu of doggy cupcakes and biscuits and yummy stuff! I checked out the cupcakes but Mick recommended some biscuits which I must say were excellent! However the beach at Amble does have some restrictions re: dogs in the summer.

Druridge Bay Country Park however, comprises of three miles of beautiful beach and sand dunes, plus a large freshwater lake surrounded by woods and meadows.

So pack up your bags my friends and enjoy your holibobs!

Now We Can Travel Again

Hi Dog Pals and your Humans,

From Monday 17th May, our humans will be able to take us to stay at nice places around the UK. I has been looking back through my many adventures and I have a few lovely places to recommend to you all. Today I will give you a few ideas for Norfolk.

Titchwell Manor, North Norfolk

One of Hum’s favourite places to visit is the North Norfolk coast which is really extremely dog friendly. We stayed at Titchwell Manor and I can highly recommend this hotel if you want a lovely holiday by the sea. There are several dog friendly rooms in a small courtyard and what a lovely room we had with LOTS of stuff for me!!!! I got a welcome letter, a bed, a map of where to take Hum for a walk, a towel to wipe my feet after the walk, bowl for water, poo bags AND a bag of treats that had my name on it (to make sure Hum didn’t steal them). Now that IS dog friendly!

There is a nature reserve at Titchwell and it is close to the wonderful expanse of sand that is Brancaster Beach for lots of sand and sea playtime.

Wells-Next-the-Sea

Further along the coast you will find Wells-Next-the-Sea which must be one of the most dog friendly towns in the UK! Dogs are allowed in nearly all the shops, cafes, pubs and hotels. If dogs can’t go into a shop, there is always a dog bowl of water nearby to quench your thirst. Dog friendly hotels include The Crown, The Globe and Bang in Wells. You couldn’t stay in Wells and not visit the wonderful beach which is dog friendly all year round and you can walk all the way to Holkham and visit the dog friendly Victoria Hotel there. The highlight of a doggie stay in Wells must be a trip to the Beach Cafe. This is so dog friendly, they even have a Bark Up Bar!

Congham Hall, Norfolk

Now Congham Hall doesn’t call themselves a Dog Friendly Hotel but rather they say they host dogs who come there with their owners. And very good at hosting they are too! Congham Hall is a rather super place to stay for both human-folk and us four legs. The staff are exceptionally friendly and will show you all the places where we dogs are allowed of which there are several – the library; the bar; your room of course and all the grounds. Dog friendly rooms overlook one of the gardens and have French Windows opening onto your own little patio. Waiting just inside the door you will find a bowl and a bag of treats. It is super good for your humans too with luxurious furnishings, a coffee machine, fresh coffee and a spa!

So my friends, a brief tour of some of my favourite places – will cover a different part of the country soon!

Fabulous Father’s Day at the extremely Dog Friendly Cotgrave Country Park!

Hi Dog Pals,

Yesterday was Father’s Day so I wanted to do something fun with GlennDad 🙂

I gave GlennDad his pressie which was a Dog Owner’s Walking Gift Box which contained walking socks and chocolate for him and treats and a ball for me!

Now all we needed to do was find a good place to go for a walk! Hum got on her interweb thingy and found the very dog friendly Cotgrave Country Park. Countrycotgravecountrypark.co.uk

Cotgrave Country Park has been created from the reclaimed land of a former colliery site. The park has been landscaped with woodlands, lakes, and wetland areas.  There are 200 acres of public open space to explore on foot, by bike or on horse back. Admission and parking are free. All that AND it is super duper dog friendly!!!!

When we arrived, we chose our route (all routes are well signposted) and set off. The first thing we came to was a small area which had a sign to say it was a doggy toilet area!! Well I never!! I have never had a dedicated toilet area before so it seemed a shame not to use it and there was a poo bin right next to it. Hum was pleased about that I can tell you 😉

We walked along a path and OMG, the next thing we came to was a Dog Pool!!! Our own Swimming Pool! Now I don’t like swimming or getting my beautiful hair wet and muddy but other dogs were proper enjoying it!

The paths go past fishing lakes and then across a bridge over a canal. Hum & GlennDad LOVED this as they have been missing living on the houseboat.

Hum was pleased that as well as the doggy toilet area, there were lots of other bins round the walk.

After a walk along the canal, we looped back past some picnic benches and shared a wonderful picnic supplied by Mortons Farm Tearooms There were sausage rolls, quiche, cheese scones, cheese, pickles and all sorts of goodies some of which I was allowed to sample – yummy! GlennDad thought it was delicious!

So we had a really lovely Father’s Day – happy GlennDad and happy little old me 🙂 Oh and of course Hum really happy ‘cos we were happy 🙂

Guest Post – 7 Things You Need to Know When Travelling Abroad with Your Dog

If you’ve never travelled abroad with your dog, there are a couple of things that you should know. It is a well-researched fact that 67% of United States households have a pet. The number of dogs owned in the USA is in the millions unit and over the past 32 years, there has been a great increase in the number of dogs owned.

With this large number of pets in homes across the country, it’s expected that people should carry a considerable number of pet animals on international trips every year. Across the globe, there are about 4 million animals boarded on international flights annually.

Compared to travel restrictions against pets in previous years, it isn’t as difficult to travel abroad with your pet today. Certain reformations and adjustments have been made to accommodate the need for moving pets across international borders.

In this post, we will provide you with 7 things you should know when traveling abroad with your dog:

  1. Get a Microchip Implant for the Dog
One of the basic things that you’ll need to do before you can successfully travel abroad with your dog is to get a microchip implant for the dog.

This is a requirement in most countries across the globe. After doing that, some states would require you to vaccinate the dog within a timeframe of one month before arriving in the country.

Regardless of whether or not your dog has been vaccinated before the chip implant, it would still need to repeat the vaccination once the micro-chipping is done.
  1. Apply for a Veterinary Health Certificate or Pet Passport
Next step is to request for and fill a veterinary health certificate. This is to be done before taking off for the destination country.

Just in case you need more information about the certificates required, you can always ask for assistance from the embassy – they’ll provide you with the needed certificate.

Pet passports are another alternative to health certificates. However, these pet passports are unique to European residents. This is a detailed passport that makes international pet travel easy.
  1. Check if Your Dog is a Banned Breed
Another important thing that you should know is the tolerance of certain dog breeds in different countries. There are certain nations of the world that don’t tolerate some dog breeds on international trips.

Before a banned breed can be allowed into the country, it must have satisfied all the previously mentioned requirements in this article – including the mandatory quarantine period.

Some of the breeds that are commonly banned include Japanese Tosa Inus, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Pit Bulls, Dogo Argentinos, Fila Brasileros, and Neapolitan Mastiffs. If you own any of these dog breeds, make sure you know if they’ll be allowed into the destination country.
  1. Research if the Country You Will Visit Requires Your Dog to Go Through Quarantine
One of the protocols that you might face with your pet dog, during an international trip, is quarantine.

However, not all countries would mandate your pet dog to be subjected to this quarantine protocol. Some countries would give you undisturbed passage if the previously stated requirements are satisfied.

On the other hand, some nations of the world have mandatory quarantine periods for pets on international travel. This period could range from a week to a couple of months.
  1. Crate Train Your Pooch
When you board a flight, your pet is not allowed to seat with you in the passenger cabin. They are kept in undercarriage crates for safety reasons. Besides, not every other passenger would be able to tolerate dogs – some might even have allergies.

You should know that these crates aren’t a harsh confinement for the dogs. They are usually large enough to provide your dog with breathable space.

However, things would be much better for a dog that’s already used to undercarriage crate confinement. This is why you should crate train your dog if it has never been on a flight before.
  1. Notify the Airline in Advance
With all that has been said so far, you’ll still need to notify your airline that you’ll be bringing your dog on the flight.

This is an important thing to do; it prevents you from running into difficulty at the airport.

If your dog is within a certain size, you are able to bring it onboard the plane with you. Make sure to keep your pooch safety confined within an airline approved pet carrier.
  1. Book a Hotel That Doesn’t Charge Extra Fees for Pets
Lastly, you’ll need to consider additional fees that may be charged by the hotel when you bring your dog with you. However, not all hotels charge an extra fee for pets. It would be good if you could find one of these hotels at the destination country.

Zuki’s 6th Birthday!!!!

Hi Everypawday!

Zuki Poochon here!

It’s my BIRTHDAY!!! I is a big girl – 6 year’s old!!!

Had a great day so far. Postman Pooch delivered a BIG box for me and after a walk and play at Burnt Stump, I was allowed to see what was inside! Wowzers, it was brilliant! I got a nice birthday card from Postman Pooch and another from Hum & GlennDad.

In my birthday box there were toys and treats, a party hat I refused to wear and a little dog friendly cup cake. I thought it was lovely but wasn’t sure how to get to the biscuits on top without burning my nose on the silly candle Hum insisted on putting there!

Hum and GlennDad wished me a Happy Birthday (could do without their singing to be honest) and then fortunately the candle was removed and I got the biscuits.

After lunch, I spent time with Hum playing with my new toys. Have not managed to get the stuffing out of monkey yet but there is time for that. Had a nice game of tug with crocodile and was please I had got a new space lobber toy as the squeak in my old one mysteriously disappeared…..

I enjoyed some of the little heart shaped treats and then I was somewhat exhausted so am finishing up here and going for a little nap.

Thanks Postman Pooch and Hum & GlennDad for making my Lockdown birthday fun.
