Hi Dog Pals and your Humans,
From Monday 17th May, our humans will be able to take us to stay at nice places around the UK. I has been looking back through my many adventures and I have a few lovely places to recommend to you all. Today I will give you a few ideas for Norfolk.
Titchwell Manor, North Norfolk
One of Hum’s favourite places to visit is the North Norfolk coast which is really extremely dog friendly. We stayed at Titchwell Manor and I can highly recommend this hotel if you want a lovely holiday by the sea. There are several dog friendly rooms in a small courtyard and what a lovely room we had with LOTS of stuff for me!!!! I got a welcome letter, a bed, a map of where to take Hum for a walk, a towel to wipe my feet after the walk, bowl for water, poo bags AND a bag of treats that had my name on it (to make sure Hum didn’t steal them). Now that IS dog friendly!

There is a nature reserve at Titchwell and it is close to the wonderful expanse of sand that is Brancaster Beach for lots of sand and sea playtime.
Wells-Next-the-Sea
Further along the coast you will find Wells-Next-the-Sea which must be one of the most dog friendly towns in the UK! Dogs are allowed in nearly all the shops, cafes, pubs and hotels. If dogs can’t go into a shop, there is always a dog bowl of water nearby to quench your thirst. Dog friendly hotels include The Crown, The Globe and Bang in Wells. You couldn’t stay in Wells and not visit the wonderful beach which is dog friendly all year round and you can walk all the way to Holkham and visit the dog friendly Victoria Hotel there. The highlight of a doggie stay in Wells must be a trip to the Beach Cafe. This is so dog friendly, they even have a Bark Up Bar!

Congham Hall, Norfolk
Now Congham Hall doesn’t call themselves a Dog Friendly Hotel but rather they say they host dogs who come there with their owners. And very good at hosting they are too! Congham Hall is a rather super place to stay for both human-folk and us four legs. The staff are exceptionally friendly and will show you all the places where we dogs are allowed of which there are several – the library; the bar; your room of course and all the grounds. Dog friendly rooms overlook one of the gardens and have French Windows opening onto your own little patio. Waiting just inside the door you will find a bowl and a bag of treats. It is super good for your humans too with luxurious furnishings, a coffee machine, fresh coffee and a spa!

So my friends, a brief tour of some of my favourite places – will cover a different part of the country soon!
Zuki xx
