The Bell Inn Walberswick was as really good find. After a not so promising time in Southwold and being told by locals (lovely couple with really friendly Boxer in tow) that they rated pubs in Walberswick better, Hum (Human Mum) and I set off back across on the Ferry to The Bell Inn.
Must say it was a good recommendation! Made welcome in all the bar areas – lots of little nooks and crannies to sit in PLUS a HUGE garden with sea views.
The garden was full so we found a lovely spot in the bar where Hum could look out to the garden and the sea and I could relax. It was really tranquil and calming considering how busy it was!
The lovely Jo made us feel especially welcome. Talked about the fact they have 2 dog friendly rooms at The Bell Inn with dogs on the wall paper even!!!! Hey Brill Idea!!! Hope Hum realises that is the way to go décor-wise at home!
Hum ordered a smoked cod fish finger sandwich – hey guys – smoked fish is REALLY good! Yum! Yum Yum!
Jo was happy to get me my own water – yeah! And a gravy bone biscuit for my afters – thanks Jo!
Seriously good and I even heard the staff whispering they prefer dogs to children 😉
