This was when we went to BrewDog, Nottingham. We were staying at Hart’s Hotel and after a nice walk along the canal, Hum decided we should head to BrewDog for a bite to eat.
All BrewDog bars are dog friendly – its in the name really – they do a good beer (brew) and they love dogs! There is even a real live BrewDog called Simoe apparently. I had hoped he might be in residence so I could meet him but Hum thinks he is based up in Scotland so I told her I want to go there sometime!
Hum isn’t a great beer drinker but found that they have a huge range of drinks – something for everyone she said – and indeed for dogs too!
I was brought a huge bowl of water before Hum had even finished ordering at the bar so BrewDog managed to live up to its dog friendly reputation from the get go.
The customers at BrewDog were also super friendly and I got lots of cuddles and fussing from a University Scuba Team who were in celebrating something.
When the food arrived it was a-maz-ing! The table was low enough for me to see the lovely big platter of meat and cheese. I LOVE meat and I LOVE cheese! So Hum and I shared a delicious meal together before retiring to the hotel for the night.
Can definitely recommend BrewDog bars – just fab for when you are staying in a city!
